You’re listening to the transform your life from the inside out podcast. This is a continuation of the series, Shaman’s tips for an amazing 2026. This would be the ninth in that series. And this episode, unlike the last one, which was more comprehensive and talking about, you know, spiritual seniority, this one here, I am literally just going through random notes. It was a conversation I had.
And my intention is, is that you will just find personal takeaways for you as I share some of these notes. I will do my best to tie them together. As I recall, this is from 2019. So hopefully you’ll find some takeaways for you here. Enjoy. Hi, I’m Jim Fortin, and you’re about to start transforming your life from the inside out with this podcast. I’m widely considered the leader in subconscious transformation, and I’ve coached super achievers all around the world for over 25 years.
Here you’re going to find no rah rah motivation and no hype because this podcast is a combination of brain science, transformational psychology, and ancient wisdom all rolled into one to take your life to levels you’ve never thought possible. If you’re wanting a lot more in life, to feel better, to heal, to have peace of mind, to feel powerful and alive, and to bring more abundance and prosperity into your life, then this podcast is for you.
because you’re going to start learning how to master your mind and evolve your consciousness. And when you do that, anything you want then becomes possible for you. I’m glad you’re here. Okay. Shaman’s tips for an amazing 2026. As I said in the introduction, this was all a conversation item, Don Javier in 2019. And when we talk without question, always, providing I have pencil and paper, pen, whatever.
I’ll take notes on the conversation. And I even have notes, you know, when I lived in New York City, something like 25 years ago, I would call him when I take notes for those entire conversations, because I look back later and I’m like, okay, yeah, I got that. I literally integrated that lesson. No, I’m still working on that. Ooh, okay, today this makes more sense to me, et cetera. So I always use the old notes as a reference point to my own evolution.
Jim Fortin (02:23.382)
and where need to be keeping my attention and what I need to be focused on. So this was from a random conversation. Again, I’m just going to, I’m just going to go through them as he said them and I’ll take them apart here and explain them a little bit. Okay. Number one is what he said. If you were out of wellbeing, then you were out of I and E, A, Y and I. Now I’ve done probably two or three episodes, maybe two and a half, three years ago on
Aini is ancient Ingan reciprocity of life. So what he’s really saying here is if you’re out of wellbeing, you’re out of wellbeing because you were out of Aini. You’re not living in reciprocity with the rest of life. In layman’s terms, what that really means is that we are taken more than what we are giving. Now, what does that mean? And how do we apply that to our everyday life? If we’re out of wellbeing, we’re out of Aini,
We are out of reciprocity of life, but let’s look at life. Money. What that means is, is if you’re out of well-being with money, that means you’re taking more money than what you are giving. Or said another way, you’re taking more value than what you were giving back to the world or to the people that gave it to you. What about your health? When you’re out of irony, what that means is that you basically, you keep taking from your body because you use your body all day long.
but you’re not giving your body what it needs to stay healthy. Hopefully that makes sense to you. The next one is well-being and love. If you’re out of well-being and love, that means that most likely you’re out there sucking up love, you’re out there being needy, you’re out there seeking love, and you’re not being love and giving love. There’s a phrase that I heard many years ago. If you want to find love,
Stop looking and seeking love and start literally being loved. Be the love that you want to find. Think about that. You’ll find the truism in that. Why? Because now we’re living in Aini, meaning we’re living in the cycle and the reciprocity of life. Next one, and I’ll take this apart a little bit. And as I read the notes on this, I’m like, okay, where’s he going in this conversation?
Jim Fortin (04:48.493)
This conversation was kind of like a pinball machine. He was all over the place in the conversation. And I remember, remember that I was in a car and I was the passenger and I was taking notes and see, and I were talking and I was trying to connect the notes on my mind. Like what is it? He’s really trying to tell me, but he went on also to say everything is geometry. Now the definition of geometry, and by the way, that made sense to me because it was my language because I
The only math class that I loved in high school was geometry. And he said, and you’ll find this to be true. You go to the supermarket, you find the broccoli that has the golden mean and the spiral. Okay. Or conch shell. You it’s all over life. You look at trees, you look at everything in the universe. It’s all geometry. But what is geometry? The definition of it is the study of shapes.
sizes and spaces and how they fit together. Now think about that, how they fit together. And Don Hubbier said, if your life is not working, your geometry is off. Now, if you heard that with no context, you’d be, what the hell are you talking about? My life’s upside down in the shitter, it’s not working, and you’re telling me my geometry is off? Well, Don Hubbier said most people have broken geometry
in themselves. Ponder that. Most people have broken geometry in themselves. And what that means in my interpretation is it means we’re not fitting together with the world, meaning it’s like two puzzle pieces that don’t work. The world’s over here doing its thing. We’re over here in our own little minuscule model of the world doing our thing. And then we’re not creating any and merging into the world.
A great way to explain this, and I’ve talked about this example at least once before on the podcast many episodes ago, I read a story or heard a story. I heard it actually many, many years ago that I heard it, is this preacher was at home one day, his wife went shopping, and this was back in the 70s, and his wife’s like, babysitter, our son. He wanted to write his sermon. This was Saturday, and he wanted to write his sermon for Sunday.
Jim Fortin (07:10.091)
So what he did to keep his boy busy because his boy wanted attention, he tore out a picture in a magazine and he tore it into many, many pieces. And he said, here, you put this back together and I’ll give you a dollar. By the way, that’s like six bucks back then. And the kid was probably five years old. So he thought, okay, that’s going to keep little Tommy busy for the next three or four hours while I write my sermon. A few minutes later, Tommy came back.
And he had the picture and the pieces put together. And the dad said, how did you do that? And he said, well, you know what I recognized is all the pieces. One side was the face of a man and the other side was a map of earth. So the kid said, I recognized if I put together the map of the earth on one side, then the other side, the man would naturally come together. And the moral of the story
or the teaching in the story is when the man in this example, when the man is right, his world is right. And I think this is what Don Heverier means about we are literally, we have broken geometry. Our internal world is not right, so therefore it doesn’t fit into the external world. And I can tell you with pretty much certainty, if you’re struggling in any way in your life, guess what?
You’re not putting your geometry together correctly. Been there, done that, school of hard knocks on that. Trust me, I understand that one as well as you do and everyone else here. Something you may want to do as well, my comment, not Donovier’s, many decades ago he started teaching me about sacred geometry. You may have heard of it, you may not have heard of it. Just Google sacred geometry. I have and I live by sacred geometry in my home.
sacred geometry could be distilled in the way that I use it in my home as Feng Shui. People walk into my house and they’re like, my gosh, it’s so peaceful in your house. Yeah, because the house is designed in a certain way to nurture me soulfully. My house is my sanctuary. So you may want to look into sacred geometry or you may want to look into Feng Shui.
Jim Fortin (09:31.853)
but those may provide some guidance for you when you find something that helps you create a new path of fixing your geometry. Next one quote from Don Javier. Most of us are in no union with the divine. We are in no union with the divine. That goes back to the last episode when I talked about we don’t know our seniority. Is that we live in the 3D, me, me, me, money, money, 3D, 3D, 3D.
the world and news and politics, and we live all in the 3D, and he said, his words, not mine, that’s very harmful to do that. We must live in union with the divine. And he said, which this is a lifetime process in my opinion, we must be in full union at all times with the divine. Ponder that one. We must be in full union
at all times with the divine. And the reason I say, I’m, trust me, I’m still working on this also because it’s so easy to be pulled into things in the 3D world. Hey, let’s go here. Let’s go do this. Let’s go to all these kinds of things. And even worse when you’re watching the news, as I talked about in the last episode and the CNN and the Reuters and the Fox and Newsmax, I guess, I wish I’ve never watched that station once, but
all these kinds of things, they literally pull us out of the divine and into the 3D and they keep us trapped in the 3D. And he said, it’s easier, which I have found to be true. It’s easier to create changes and abundance when you’re in union with the divine. Ponder that one. And when I give you these things and I say ponder them, I’m serious. I mean this in a very heartfelt way.
Take your time with these, take some notes on this. But for you, what does it mean for you to live in union with the divine? And at the very least, what it could mean is at least take time like I talked about in the last episode and take time. Because he said, if we’re not living in union with the divine, we’re living, as he said, in a toxic world.
Jim Fortin (11:56.062)
So we need to decide whether or not we’re to live in the toxic world or in a union with the divine. In fairness to you listening, I have been there and I’m like, okay, what the hell live in the union with the divine. But you know what? I’ve got work. I’ve got podcasts. I’ve got training. I’ve got coaching. I have to speak at this event. I have mortgage. I have all these kinds of things that we all have. And it’s so easy to place my attention on those things.
And then guess what? I’m in the toxicity of the world. So just take it, use it however it feels comfortable for you. So I did mention my sanctuary, my home of that very peaceful. let very few people in my house physically and non-physically. And I remember a good friend of mine, I mentioned this in the podcast, his name is Drew Canole. I’ve coached him many years ago. We’ve been friends for probably 15 years now.
He’s really big on the line. think he has a million followers on Instagram and his YouTube videos over the years have had hundreds of millions of downloads and he walked in and he’s like to my current home and he’s like, Jim, oh my God, the social proof in this house. Meaning if you want to talk about success, then shoot videos from inside my house. But I never do that. Why? Or I may start doing it mainly because I want to communicate with more people via YouTube and social media.
But I don’t do that. And the reason why is I don’t want strangers in my home because everything is energy. And I go back to a conversation I was having of Don Javier in the year 2000. There was a radio show that I was on. It was a spiritual radio show in New York City. And back then they had about a quarter of a million listeners per episode per week. And the host of the show said, you know, Jim, your episode was an extraordinarily
Listen to episode. There was a really popular episode. We want to do a series with you and the host a few months later, kicked the bucket and left the planet. And I thought, man, I really enjoyed that show. I want to host that show. And I called Don Javier and I said, can you help me energetically become the host of this show? And he said, no, he goes, you don’t have the personal power to interact at that level. And this was back in my life 25 years ago.
Jim Fortin (14:21.908)
And he said, every single ear that hears you, you are connecting with them energetically. Every single eye that sees you, you are connecting with them energetically and you don’t have the personal power to manage yourself with those kinds of ears and numbers of eyes on you. And it’s not a healthy and good thing for you. And it would be hurtful for you. So even now that’s why so many
influencers, which I guess I have the numbers to be that, but I don’t consider myself that it’s just something that I’ve never spoken one word about because it doesn’t mean anything to me. Big fricking wolf. So many influencers invite people into their life through video. I’m not doing it. And Don Javier told me this one time. He’s like, don’t tell anyone what you’re doing. Now, what he meant by that is
One time he was buying a home in Sedona and I was assisting with that. And I already knew the parameters of our relationship and how it works, but he didn’t tell anyone else that works with him until that transaction was complete. And I asked him back then, because there were some people that came to visit when he came to Sedona in 2019. I already had a house here.
He came to visit with my sister and one other couple that I’m still friends with and I’ve known them for 25 years and they work with him. Now this other couple knew that he was looking for a home when he was in Sedona. So I had to help with the financial aspect of that. I mean, he’s a shaman. He doesn’t really charge any money and I didn’t have to, I chose to, I offered to, and it was a blessing to do that. Now this other couple, once they and Don Harvey went back to Dallas,
Not one time did they ever ask me, Hey, did he find a home? Did he buy a home? Are you helping him? Not one time. And I didn’t mention it to them. Why? Because he’s tall. All of us is when you share things that you’re doing with the world or you share your environment with the world, they inject their energy into it and you do not want all of their projections injected energetically into what you’re doing.
Jim Fortin (16:45.365)
So food for thought for you, you know, it’s not my place to judge you if you want to live your life online. And I mean, people have done some things that I find incredulous, but that’s okay. That’s their choice. I mean, there was this guy one time that had a camera on in his apartment, 24 hours, not for some things that he did, but for everything that he did. And to me, I was like, my gosh, energetic implications of that.
It wouldn’t surprise me at some point if that guy came up physically ill. Why? Because we’re always transferring energy, what we see, what we hear. And even though we’re not physically connecting, we’re always transferring energy through what we observe and absorb from and in the world.
Okay, next, everyone needs authenticity. His exact words, everyone needs authenticity. So many of us, especially with the advent of social media, which has compounded it, we don’t live authentic lives. I can’t tell you the amount of people that I have coached. And when it comes one to one, I generally only coach influencers. The reason why is because even though somebody can afford to pay me to coach them,
When I coached one to one, charged $25,000 for three months. And I had a guy reach out on Instagram and said, and he did not have a big follow on Instagram. And he said, money’s not a problem. Can you coach me? And I said, well, this is what I charge. And he’s like, that’s not a problem. But I said, I only coach influencers. And he goes, but I’m not an influencer. And then again, he went to money’s not a problem. The reason that I choose to coach one to one only influencers is because I only have so much.
time in my daily life. And the more that I can help an influencer make a bigger impact, bigger impact that I can make vicariously through that influencer, the better world that I can help all of us live in. And that’s why, but I can’t tell you the amount of influencers that I’ve coached that are a bit shy on authenticity, meaning they won’t show you who they are. They won’t show you you at their worst. They’ll show you
Jim Fortin (18:59.667)
especially women, all the makeup and the hair is made up and the car and my Gucci outfit and my Patek Philippe and my Bentley and my all and those things are fine by the way. We, many of us have those things, but you know what? Don’t attach to them. But you know what? What you don’t see is the pain, the fear, things behind, you know, their kids acting up.
You don’t see the real person because they’re manufacturing this image. And I’ll share this with you. This is not Don Javier’s comment, but mine is many of these people that we look up to, and I really don’t look up to anyone, so to speak. I look sideways because we’re all learning our lessons and I can learn from people. There’s no question about that. But as far as putting anyone on the pedestal, I don’t even no matter what you think.
Even Don Javier doesn’t go on a pedestal in my life. Why? Because he’s on the planet too. Is he my guide? 3D? mean, you know, through the physical body and teaching me? Yes. But you know what? Every single being on this planet has an ego identity as well. And I see that and I understand that and I take that into consideration and all of my years, but I follow him because I’m always growing and evolving and learning and
I had gotten far more by being by his side on this path than by not being on this path with him. But what many of us do, and I remember Don Juan talking about this, many of us wear a mask. And what we do is we go to one party and we put one mask on. And then we go to a different party and we put a different mask on. When we go to a different party and we put a different mask on, and that’s exhausting. Just be you.
You know, I recall talking to Bill Zanker, who owns a learning annex in New York City. And many years ago, I used to be the spokesperson for the learning annex speakers Academy. And I was talking to Bill one time we were having lunch and he was not really saying in a judgmental way. He was saying it more than like, well, this is the way that it is. The amount of, and he’s had the biggest name speakers in the world on his stages. Everyone from, Bill Clinton and back when he was before he was caught doing his crap, like Bill Cosby.
Jim Fortin (21:20.436)
Kurt Vonnegut, mean, world personalities he would have on the stages, health experts, you know, spiritual experts, the whole thing. I mean, he was a big platform in the nineties, his organization, the learning annex for Deepak Chopra and Wayne Dyer. He’s worked at the highest level of people that we would now call influencers and he knows them all and he had them on stage and we were having lunch and he said, you wouldn’t believe the amount of people because I’d mentioned one influencer.
And I said that influencer talks about, you know, having no alcohol. He goes, well, that influencer and their agreement, part of the agreement is, is that they have a bottle of wine in their room when they get there and after they present. And I said, but yeah, they talk about no alcohol, but yet they have alcohol. And he looked at me and he didn’t say anything, but he nodded his head. Yes. Like, yep. They say one thing and they do another.
It doesn’t mean all influencers do that, but you know what? They’re not being authentic. And my position is at some point that’s going to come back to them and they’re not being authentic and transparent. Why? Because they are in fear. They’re in fear of what if you see the real me? So what I’m really sharing here, the takeaways, let me just recap them very quickly. This is a short episode.
Is I would suggest maybe you start exploring sacred geometry. You can get online and you could find it and the reason why sacred geometry has the ability to open you up. You know something you may want to explore and I didn’t plan on talking about this in this episode and I’m not going to dig in, but look up a Merkaba Merkaba Merkaba. It’s a travel device, OK, but it’s sacred geometry.
Sacred geometry is all around us. It’s in life. Everything is sacred geometry. So if you want to start understanding yourself on a deeper level, because what it could do is sacred geometry literally has a frequency to it. You might touch upon a frequency that opens up things in you that’s happened to me before. When I look at something, I automatically would go in many years ago when I first started discovering this.
Jim Fortin (23:46.715)
I could look at something and almost automatically go into a trance just by looking at that something. And it was a sacred geometry piece, was a particular shape. And I asked Don Javier about that and he’s like, well, you’re merging right into it. You’re going into the geometry of it. So anyway, keep that in mind is that everything is geometry. And if your world is not working the way that you want, basically your geometry is out of whack.
because you’re not fitting into the world. So explore that. Okay. I talk about also being a union and union at all times with spirit. That’s not something you just wave a magic wand and go, Shazam. I’m in union today with the divine mind. Now it’s awareness. And that’s why I talked about silence in the last episode a bit more in that episode is when we go into that place, we can connect with the Nima Mundi.
which is the soul of the world. Next, we talked a little bit about explore how you live in your home and how you use your home with what I do for a living. A lot of people who live like I do, they might have charity events in their own fundraisers and all those kinds of things. And trust me, people will suggest that I do that. I have no desire. I have no desire to do that. Why? Because I don’t want the energy in my home because a lot of times it’s a lot of erratic energy.
And the last home that I bought, Don Javier looked at it in pictures, the home was in Sedona. And he said to me when he looked at the pictures, there was this big room downstairs that wasn’t considered part of the square footage of the home. It wasn’t even included in the square footage when I bought the home. And it was a room that all it had was a door to the outside, one window, and it was all carpeted. And that room was about 900 square feet.
And Don Javier said to me, he goes, I don’t know what’s happened in there, but that’s some nasty energy in that room. There’s some very wacky things that have happened in that room. He said there’s some very dark energy in that home. And again, he goes, I don’t know what happened in there. Well, that home, I talked to somebody who owned that home like two hours prior to me. And they said, yeah.
Jim Fortin (26:07.411)
We used to do spiritual healing in that room and people would dump a lot of their spiritual baggage in the energy in that room. And it made sense when they said that. Okay. So we talked about your home, your sanctuary, feng shui, sacred geometry, but also we get so distracted with the 3D ego that we tend to hear these things and we tend to forget about them. But these are all spiritual tools to help you further start exploring your spiritual seniority.
And then finally, if you want a lot of peace in your life is learn to live from authenticity and transparency, fully transparent. I fuck up as much as anyone else does. I just do it on my own way. And guess what? I don’t mean to be a one-up on anybody, but I usually fuck it up worse than everyone else. Many times in my life, I’ve been there. I’ve been upside down with my head below the quicksand. I had been there before.
And I have no problem as being transparent about that. I’m not perfect. I know even if you’ve listened for any amount of time, I can say some stupid shit. There are certain things that I could do better. I get all that, but all that, you know, I just work from how can I help? And I’m just being transparent about that. How can I help? So your transformational takeaway is everything I just shared with you. Find your own takeaway in that. See what fits for you. And a final, final takeaway.
If anything, I’ve said today calls to you. Do not let it just call to you, meaning, that’s interesting. Start exploring because you’re actually feeling that or hearing that or seeing that energetically. And that’s your soul pulling you going, hey, go down that hallway, go down that pathway. But we tend to dismiss it because we’re in our 3D ego. OK, thanks for listening. I’ll catch you over on another episode. Bye bye.
