Executive Assistant

Fun team looking for a full time virtual executive assistant/student success representative!

Our growing team is looking for a team player to assist our director of operations with daily admin tasks and team organization as well as assist the student success department in the inbox and with payments.

The ideal candidate has previous executive assistant experience or personal assistant experience and gets excited by organization, prioritization, assisting customers and making executives’ lives easier.

What kind of work will you be doing?

  • Updating our product reference sheets weekly- keeping the team current in all changes happening
  • Finding and sending birthday gifts to all team members throughout the year
  • Creating and updating spreadsheets
  • Organizing our project management software
  • Assisting the director of operations with team member follow up on tasks and projects
  • Being the liaison between The director of operations and outside contractors, oversees VA’s and team members
  • Assisting with fulfilling requests for our promotional partners
  • Covering the inbox when our customer service rep is out
  • Creating and organizing saved replies for our student success department
  • Assisting with marketing projects such as organizing testimonials
  • Various admin tasks such as data entry, research event venues, HR type research etc.

You can expect a mixture of admin tasks and detailed spreadsheet data entry-type work as well as project organization and a variety of other tasks as they come up. Our intention is that you’ll have a thorough understanding of the business after being trained and will be able to help out any team member when needed.

Social Media Manager

This position is aimed to expand our following and business via marketing for our podcast, optins, and programs by creating and delivering engaging and unique content for our audience through social media. Our goal is to create a thriving following that is engaged and ultimately become customers.

This is a part-time, salary position that reports directly to our Director of Marketing: Monica Lopera Nassar, while also working closely with our Customer Support and Community Manager.

The position is virtual. We are flexible with work hours, but expect your work tasks to be completed on time, as discussed and agreed upon with our Marketing Project Direction.

Also, because our business uses an online launching business model, a few times per year there will be the need to work additional hours on evenings and weekends preparing for these launches.

Responsibilities

Our Social Media Manager will primarily be responsible for:

  • Social Media Brand Management: Acting as the brand voice for Jim Fortin across all social media platforms by developing and executing a regular posting strategy, including creating and/or repurposing engaging content that establishes our presence as an authority, such as blog posts, videos, graphics, etc., designing the images and scheduling the posts.
  • Social Media Growth: Developing strategies to grow our social media platforms both in customer engagement (comments, dialogue, sharing) and numeric value (number of followers, friends).
  • Campaign Creation: Partner with our content and marketing teams to help support our product launches on the social front. You’ll do this by designing and executing results-driven, lead-generating, and high-converting social media campaigns.
  • Analytics: Constantly tracking and reporting on social analytics and metrics, making suggestions for improvement based on your findings in these reports. Measuring sentiment about our brand, products, and services on the social web and responding accordingly.
  • Research: Researching and staying up to speed on new social media marketing strategies and how we can use them to add value to our audience.
  • Community Management: Owning community engagement and responding to customers who voice their complaints on social media channels. You’ll do this by posting engaging content, soliciting relationships or arising themes to our customer service manager.

Skills and Abilities

You are a good fit for this position if the statements below are true for you:

  • Social media is your passion. You can easily spot an effective social media channel and identify the qualities that make it successful.
  • You are constantly paying attention to what is working for leading brands and can visualize how it can apply to our brand.
  • You are a thinker and a doer. This position is a mix of both. You can come up with strong, smart strategies and you also don’t hesitate to jump in and implement.
  • You understand the power of a good story and you are a master at asking the right questions of the right people to bring that story to life.
  • You’re an effective communicator, especially in writing. Your grammar and writing skills are top notch.
  • You have a knack for identifying trends before they become trends and pride yourself on implementing quickly to be first to market with your new ideas.
  • You have a visual eye and are hungry to step beyond the normal stock image to bring our brand to life
  • You are masterful at tapping into the unique voice of our brand.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in managing social media for an influential brand with a strong online presence. This includes writing in the brand’s voice, creating posting and campaign strategies, growing the platforms, engaging with the brand’s tribe online and analytics.
  • Mac, Keynote and iPhone user is preferred. Must be comfortable with technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms is required, along with knowledge of social media management applications like Later.com.
  • We’d also prefer someone who has experience using Photoshop.
  • Experience using Google Suite (mail, docs, drive, calendar), ClickUp, Slack, and Dropbox is preferred.

Fun team looking for a full time graphic designer to join our movement!

As a Graphic Designer, you will design world-class creative for Jim Fortin’s brand portfolio across multiple categories while working collaboratively with the Marketing Director and team.

We’re looking for a motivated designer to demonstrate excellent graphic design and typography skills with graphic design direction experience and expert knowledge of design tools. Graphic Designers work closely with the Marketing team and support design needs company-wide. You will collaborate with design team members to ensure creation and delivery of excellent quality design projects for digital and print assets.

The ideal candidate has 2 + years of professional design experience and gets excited by creating designs that match a brand’s mission and message.

What kind of work will you be doing?

  • Designing landing pages, thank you pages, webpages, paid ads, social media graphics, thumbnails, PDFs etc.
  • Working quickly to meet last-minute deadlines

You can expect a mixture of admin tasks and detailed spreadsheet data entry -type work as well as project organization and a variety of other tasks as they come up.
