Yes, you read the headline correctly. Fear is the cure for fear. Why?
Because you’ll not go through fear until you go through your fear, hence, fear is the cure for itself.
I could spend hours writing fancy copy explaining this episode but it’s as simple as this: Go through your fear or you’ll never go through your fear and when you go through your fear your higher essence and Spirit will be free to soar.
You have probably heard before, “All the things you want are on the other side of your fear.” This is because mostly all the big things you want in life are coming from your desires which are many times coming from your spiritual essence.
As long as you entertain your fear you’re going to hobble and hinder your spiritual growth.
So many people who listen to my podcast would consider themselves spiritual but on the flip side of the coin, they have tremendous fears.
Ask yourself, “How spiritual is it to get into fear, that which hampers my spirit?”
In this episode of course I go deeper into this but it’s a short episode because when you really ponder the single phrase, Fear Is The Cure For Fear, and you come to know that, everything changes in life.

To this episode is that people get in the fear and probably most people listening get in the fear. And what most of us do is we run from fear. And the reality is that actually going into the fear is the cure for fear. Keep listening.

Fear is The Cure For Fear

Okay. So Fear is the Cure for Fear. And what does that mean? Now here at the podcast, I have talked about fear at different times in different ways. And I've mainly talked about it from a brain-based point of view. Or a psychological point of view. In this episode, I want to talk about it from what I call a spiritual perspective or from. Looking at it from a higher place in our lives. And the reality is, as I said in the introduction, and I know because I've been a Transformational Coach for a lot of years. And basically I've been a human being for a lot of years. Not a lot, but the time on this planet and I know my life and other people's lives and things that I hear and see.
And things that I do. But people live in constant states of fear. And people have all kind of fears, there's fear. The people get into worry. And they get into doubt and they get into insecurity. And they get into all these things guilt as well. They get in to all these things, but one big one. Which is not the main topic of this episode, but it is an example. People get into what are other people going to think about me. Which is a big fear that many people get into, and they live their entire lives. In that bubble of I'm going to live in fear. Because what are people going to think about me if I do or don't do X, Y, Z.
Okay, where I want to go in this episode. Is that fear is a lesson. Ponder that fear is a lesson. And this lesson, you've heard before in life, you're going to learn your lesson or, You've heard that phrase before. But we don't grow in life. Until we learn. Until we literally, we explore something. We experience something and then here's the thing. We go through something. And when we go through something is when we grow. So when it comes to fear, Most people. And I'm using the word most because again it applies and I know my own life many years ago. Is that we won't go through fear.
Will do anything and everything to avoid the things that cause us fear. And we don't do it. And then what many of us find is that we will not do things that we think we want to do for an entire lifetime. Why because there was fear about going into it or doing it or executing or whatever. And what I want to share with you here is higher perspective. Is that when you get into fear, You're literally blocking the spiritual essence of you. With your brain. And the brain and spiritual lessons are two very different things. But when you get into fear, what you're doing is first, let me back up there many things that you want to do in life that you might find you have a calling for.
You have a yearning. And it can be anything acting and dancing and singing. And I see a lot of this in my groups, painters. And you have what I call the spiritual calling this Dharma in you. That wants out. And it wants to express itself in the world. And you're driven by this. It's just part of who you are. You want to express this artistry, whatever it is, or however it is in you. But you're afraid to. Here's the spin in this episode. Is that, that artistry is your spirit wanting to get out. And that spirit is blocked by your brain. Now your spirit is eternal, but that's blocked by your brain being in your body on this planet. And you're literally blocking your greater spiritual essence from expressing itself when you actually hit fear and you don't go through it.
Fear is what happens. When you hit a spiritual growth wall. And what we have to do. We have to do. Is, we have to face the fear. We have to go through the fear because as you've probably heard me say before, and I'll say again, If you don't go through the fear, you won't go through the fear. If you don't. Leave your comfort zone. You won't leave. Your comfort zone. So as we look around and look at your own life, Fear is what causes the most pain on the planet. Ponder that fear is what causes the most pain on the planet. And now even further, what do you think causes the most pain in your life?
And as you ask yourself, that question. You know what causes the most pain in my life. If you will notice most likely it is fear based. When we get into fear, we disconnect ourselves from our true core, our true essence. Our spirit, our divine nature. And it shuts people down. And I look at my transformational groups. There was this one woman recently from India. And it was my last round that I did of the group. And she's an artist and she's an extraordinary artist. And she had never put her art out. Why? Because she was afraid. And I remember when she put a piece out in the group because my groups are extremely safe groups. And when,when she put that piece out. I remember Nikki, my director of operations message me. And she goes, oh my gosh, did you see that piece of art that posted in the group? And I said no, and she goes, it's amazing. And I want that piece. And actually I reached out to the artist and said, Hey, I want to buy that piece because I wanted to gift it to Nikki who runs everything for me.
And the artist said I can't sell it to you, someone already bought it. But what I'm sharing here is that she was afraid to put herself out. And then when she did put herself out, what is in her, started coming through her and people wanted it right away. And that's what we have to do in life is we have to put ourselves out there. Because how can you grow and expand in your life and create more prosperity and abundance and things in your life. If you're afraid to put yourself out there. And then what happens is we never let that soulful part of us that divine part of us. We never unleash it so that we can for lack of better words so that we can fly. And we can grow in life.

I want to give you some other perspective here and that fear shows you the direct path. That you must take in life. Ponder that your fear shows you the direct path you must take in life. Now, what I mean by that is, fear also shows you you the quickest ways that are in front of you. That are blocking your spirit. And when you remove that fear, then you unblock your spirit. And then what is in you, whether it just be out in the world, communicating with people or artistry or whatever it is. Then comes out of you. And what a lot of us want to do, and I'm no different than you and I live my life many years this way.
Is that once we're confronted with fear. We want to run from it. We want to run from the fear. And that's the worst thing that we can do because when we run from the fear, we don't go through it. And when we don't go through it, we don't evolve spiritually. And we keep repeating our human brain based patterns over and over again. I mentioned a guy before Eliphas Levi. And he has this phrase that I love. And the phrase is when you fear to cease the lion the lion will fear you. So you think about the air quote lion fears that you have in your life? Meaning big, bad fears. As long as you hold a spears, they're going to control you. And the only way to have those things stop controlling you is to face the fear.
Okay. I want to add a note here outside of the podcast episode. And that if you're listening for the first time, I appreciate it. But what I tell everyone is go back to the very first episode and start there. Of course you can listen weekly as we go. But always go back to the very first episode and start there because everything builds on itself or adds. Oh, I'll do it later and et cetera, and we never get to it. So if you're finding value, please share. Okay back to fear for a bit. Is that have you noticed. How much of your fear when you get into it? Drains you. And weaken you. Ponder that for a moment. Think about how emotionally drained you are after you've gotten into a particular episode of fear. And then think about, for example, let's say you get into something. It could be as simple as wanting to call somebody, but afraid to do it.
And you get into it and then you go over it and over it and over it in your head. And the more that you go over it and the more that you stay in fear. It's like a cell phone. And your cell phone has so much battery. And your brain has so much battery. And the more that you stay in the fear it's like being on your cell phone and running down the battery. You basically are draining the battery. And this is why so many people are so drained. Physically. After they've been getting into emotional fear because they're draining their batteries. So I do want to point out also, I've said before, there is a difference between danger and fear. And there's very real dangers in life. There are things that can harm us. So we obviously do not want to. Not at all, run towards danger or engage danger, wild animals and real lions right up in their face or a snakes or what running across traffic and, the list goes on. But we don't want to engage in danger. But we do want to engage in the fear and go through the fear. So what I'm telling you, and what I've already said is, do not run from the fear of being judged, the fear of not being like, the fear of what people are going to think about me, the fear of this or that, simple fears.
Which honestly, I think are the most ridiculous fears in the world. And I say that because I'm no different than you, which I've said, I think for the third time, in this episode, I used to have as many fears or the same kinds of fears is what everyone else did. I don't have them anymore. I don't. And when you don't have the fears for example, one of the biggest fears is what are people going to think about me. When you don't have that fear and you look back after you transcend it. You're like, oh my gosh. That's the most ridiculous fear in the world is to get into, oh, what are people going to think about me? What are people going to say about me?
What's my mother going to say, what's my father going to say, what's my family going to say? And these are all ludicrous things that we get into, but they're all based upon our fear of being judged by someone else. I also want to say very quickly, there are degrees of fear. And obviously we want to be smart, but let's say for example, the fear of judgment from other people. When I look at that, to me, that's a very low degree of fear versus somebody might have a medical condition and they put a high degree of fear on that. And the truth is this. Fear is fear. And speaking of medical conditions.
When people have some kind of, Negative medical diagnosis. What a lot of people get into instantaneously is fear and fear is the last thing that you want to get into. Even the pandemic in the world, look at all the people in fear weakens the immune system. Fear is not good for your body. But yet it's the first thing that people go into. Most people, not all. It's the first thing they go into and truth be told when it comes to physiology. It's the last thing that we should go into.
I want to keep this episode really simple and just get this to sink in. I've said before many times. And the thing about us humans. Is, we don't hear something until we hear something. We can hear something 20 times. And not get it because we hear it, but our brain filters it out and then we could hear it 10 times, 20 times. And we could even think, oh, I've heard that so many times. It's not even funny. And then one time it sinks in and we're like, wham. Okay. I get it now. And the reality is this. Think about all the comfort zones in your life. Things that you're afraid to do because you want to stay in your comfort zone. The truth is this. Is, you will not leave your comfort zone. Until you leave your comfort zone.
I'll say it again. You'll not leave your comfort zone. Until you leave your comfort zone. And again, you'll not leave your comfort zone until you leave your comfort zone. So one of the most powerful things that you can do with this episode. Is look at the comfort zones in your life. Again, the fear-based are not danger based ones, obviously. But look at the comfort zones. And ask yourself. Okay. What comfort zone can I leave today? Because when I leave that comfort zone, what's going to happen. I'm going to confront the fear. I'm going to grow. I'm going to expand. And when I do that, I reach my higher spiritual essence and things that need to come through me.
So that I can share with the world to create a more expensive life for myself and others will come through me and I can share those things and everyone is going to be better off. So I think you've already put it together by this point. Is, you'll never transcend your fear. Until you transcend your fear. And if you really want to get into fear, then be afraid about never transcending your fear because you will live your life imprisoned by that fear. You'll never grow. You'll never grow until you expand yourself and leave your fear. As I started this episode with the title. Fear is the cure for Fear. And you want to cure your fear. Embrace it. And go through it.
