EPISODE 240: “Are You Leaking Your Power?”

That’s an odd question, right? I mean, who actually stops and says, “Am I leaking power today?” 

In this episode, I talk a tad about shamanism, and in shamanism, one of the most powerful things you can do is “conserve your energy.” Why? Because the weaker your energy and the less energy you have, the less power you have. 

It’s basic physics. You are electrons, neutrons and protons. You are an “energy being.” And, when you leak your energy, akin to having a nail in your time, you weaken yourself. 

Let’s compare this to the 3D regular world. 

Think about the electricity in your house. If you leave all the lights on for a month, what is your energy bill at the end of the month? By leaving all your lights on, you have used a ton of energy, but being an energy being, when you “leave all the lights on” instead of the energy bill, you get a depleted and weaker you. 

So, how do you waste and deplete your energy? 

Easy, through your emotions, specifically, your negative emotions. 

To prove that. Think about a particular day when you worried a lot. At the end of the day, what was your energy level? Did you want to go out that night and go dancing, or did you want to crash, veg out, and relax? 

If you’re like most of us, you want to relax. Why? No energy and most people do not attribute it to a day of worry. They just think, “I’m tired.” But they are tired because they have depleted their energy. 

In this episode, I talk about the #1 way that people weaken themselves and as a result, they have little power to heal, manifest and create more in life.

Okay. So, the title of this episode is Are You Leaking Your Power? I want to talk about what that means. And in particular, I want to talk about what that means energetically. You know, being an energetic, being your electrons, neutrons, and protons. Your energy and you only have so much energy. All of us do, even though there's a finite amount of energy in the universe. You can only for lack of better words, be a medium for a certain amount of energy. So, the question I have for you is, are you leaking your energy and giving away your power. Many of, you might say, no, I'm not doing that gem. And when I share with you what I'm going to in this episode, you may find that not only do you leak power. And you give away your energy. But you're completely depleted, and you know what you do it all by yourself. So, let's talk about shamanism for a moment.

In shamanism one of the first things, I was taught many years ago is, and it was a very, very banal statement when it was told to me. And when I started learning Is that a shaman conserves, their energy. That's one of the most powerful acts that a shaman can do is conserving their energy. And you know, energy, we live in a world of consciousness and even that is energy. Everything is energy, but energy is defined as the ability to do work. And when you deplete your energy, you have less of an ability or no ability to do work. However, you define work, but how I want to look at it in this episode is to do higher mind. To work with the higher mind, the higher part of you.

You may or may not already know, but my brother-in-law. Is a Shaman and his what's called the benefactor a word that you would use. It would be mentor. I was a man named Don Juan Matus. And Don Juan, sums up the purpose of his teachings as to save energy. And this energy will enable you to handle some of the energy fields that are inaccessible to you right now. And he calls that sorcery. And the definition of sorcery. Is to be able to access energy fields and knowledge, that's not accessible to the ordinary world that we know, which is the 3d world. Sorcery is a state of awareness. Sorcery is the ability to perceive something that you cannot perceive with your ordinary perception.

Your ordinary perception is your, you know, your, your senses, your five senses. And let me ask you, I mean, how powerful is that? When you can perceive things in the world that are not accessible to your threes. You know, your, your three sentences or your five senses, so to or your 3d world and those perceptions, I mean, that's pure power. And many people ask me how I do what I do in many areas of my life. And I say most often that I'm working from sense S E N S E. Your sense is your internal deeper, profound knowing, and people will ask me, how can I know things? I just know them because I know them because I'm sensing them. And that's what I want to talk about in this episode is conserving your power and managing your power. So that you have more power to use your sense to build a better life for yourself.

When I said the word sorcery a couple of minutes ago. Many people are afraid of that word, sorcery. But you know what? They don't even know what it means. Many people have some mythological religious dark association to it. And I don't know, maybe they've been watching too many movies or too much TV and they see these sorcerers on TV often doing negative things. I mean, that makes sense on TV and in the movies, because what if you saw a good sorcerer and he's doing great things for people. I mean, how exciting would those episodes in that movie be? So that's why, and there is dark and white in the universe. So that's why many of the movies you've seen have sorcerers doing dark things.

But just say, you know, like my brother-in-law. Sorcery is also white and it's out of the light. So basically, practicing sorcery means that you go to the source. You go to the source for your knowing and your guidance. And you could say, well, what does that mean, Jim? Okay, let me put it into human 3d words. Going to the source means you can go to what you call God. Divine Mind. Quantum Field. Whatever it is that you want to call but even people that are saying, oh, I, you know, I go to God, I follow God. However, they defined that. What they're really saying is I'm going to source because when you look at it, God, Divine Mind, Quantum Field, whatever you want to call it is all the same sources.

You know, even in movies and Star Wars, they called it the force. May the force be with you? And there's power and the force, but here we're not calling it the force we're calling it the source. Energy is your life force. I mean without any energy; you would be nothing more than a dead bag of skin. You would have no EEG. You would have no EKG. I mean, you, you would be dead. Without energy, you don't even, you don't exist on the planet. So, when you waste your energy, you have a less power. To create the things that you want to create in the manifest, what you want to manifest. And to see at a deeper level thing that you want to see.

So, I want to talk about energy conservation. And energy conservation. I mean, we all know what conservation is and it's using less energy. And if you look at the conventional world, we could say things like we'll turn off your lights. When you leave a room you know, unplugging appliances when you're not using them and maybe even walking instead of driving. Because all of these things are energy conservation. Let's look at your individual life and let's talk about how you live. Let's go into your home. And let's say that tomorrow morning, you wake up. And you turn on every electrical pliant, anything in your house that runs on electricity. You turn it on. And you let it run for 30 days. Let me ask you this. At the end of 30 days, what's your what's your electric bill going to look at, you know, look like, and how high is your electrical bill going to be? Well, that's the price of wasting energy. It's a very, very high price. And it's costing you. To miss out on many things that you want to create in life. Because you're wasting your energy and not able to create it.

So just like your house, you have a high energy bill. If you're wasting your energy, meaning your personal power, energy. You have a high energy bill and therefore many people can't afford, and you can't do the things that you want to do in life. And when you have a high energy bill, you because you've wasted your energy. You have no power. When you waste your power, you have no power to create in the world. And this is why many people. Live their lives over and over and over again. And mainly, let me, let me continue on that thought. It's because they're tired at the end of the day, because they've wasted all of their energy and they're too tired to create anything else in their life.

Many years ago, Maria Shriver that a documentary called paycheck to paycheck. And this is expending physical energy, also mental energy. But the program was about single mothers. And they were working two and three jobs and their whole life revolved around getting up early in the morning. Taking care of the kids, getting them off to school, going to job. Number one, number two, number three, coming home collapsing. Day number two, starting over and doing the same thing again. They had no mental energy. Literally. To even contemplate to think about how to get out of that vicious cycle of living day to day and hand to mouth. That's a really, I don't know the right word for this. That's a really harsh example, but that's true in many people live their lives that way.

The reason why is because they're wasting. Their energy in the physical world, but you know what you, when you, you actually waste your energy in the mental You also are depleting yourself and you do not have the ability to create more. You know, ponder that for a moment. When you've wasted your energy, you're tired. And when you're tired. How do you show up in life. And specifically, how powerful are you? How much power do you have? Let's tell the truth. Many people just want to go home and collapse on the couch and like, bring me the wine. Bring me something to drink. You know, whatever, why? Because we're tired and we're tired. Many times because we've wasted our energy.

Let me give you an example here that every single person listening can relate Have you ever had a nail? in your Tire. Whether it be your bicycle tire. Or your car tire, have you ever had a nail? And what happens when you know that you have a nail. And you don't do anything about it. You have a slow leak and that eventually for your car, you walk outside one day. And you're like, whoa, Hey, holy crap. I have a flat tire right now. And then you might go back in the house and call work and say, hey, Bob and Susan, I'm going to be laid because I've got to get my tire changed because I have a flat tire. Well, when you're leaking your energy that is a nail in the tire. And when you leak your energy, you literally deflate the tire. You have a flat tire. And in that moment, like a flat tire, you are very weak.

So, I have a question for you. What things pull your attention and consume your energy. Ponder that. Because we're going to talk about that some more. What things in your life pull your attention. And consume your energy. Meaning, where do you keep your attention all day long? And you might've heard me say before, if you've listened for any amount of time, you are where your attention is. So where do you keep your attention? That's the nail and attire that depletes your energy and weakened you. What about all the chaos in your immediate life? I mean. Slow down right now. How much chaos do you have going on in your life? Ponder that. Maybe it's the kids. Maybe it's economy, maybe it's your in-laws. Maybe it's your parents. I don't know, maybe your job, maybe it's your finances, but ponder that for a moment. How much chaos do you have in your life?

Now I want to share a perspective on that. You have no chaos in your life because there is no chaos in the world. The only chaos. Are you ready? Is in your mind. That's where the chaos exists is in your mind, but you see, you might have chaos for example about money. And money fears and money worries. But someone else who is afraid, and money are, who has money. Does not have that same chaos, which means everyone doesn't have the chaos, which means that chaos about the money is in your mind. And when you get into the chaos in your mind, that’s when you really, really weaken yourself. So, the question I have for you another one. What is the chaos in your mind? Is your chaos about worry? And then what do you worry about. Think about that right now.

I don't know where you are in the world. Maybe you're jogging. Maybe you're at the gym. Maybe you're at home, sitting down, listening. But think about that right now. What do you worry about. Because that creates chaos. And that actually is a nail in the tire because it leaks your energy. Because the number one way. The number one way to become the nail to go in the tire too weak to weaken your energy is to get into your fearful and your negative emotions. Speaking of that. What kind of fears are you in today? What kind of fears are, you know, were you in yesterday? Are you in fears today that you were in yesterday and the day before and the day before the day before?

And then really, what are those fears done for you? How about some more here? Judgment. What judgments are you getting into that make you feel bad about yourself or your circumstances in life? Here's a big one for a lot of people. And a lot of people will say, no, that's not me. And trust me when I tell you I see this in a lot of people. Self-pity. How do you weaken yourself with negative feelings? About self-pity? Self-pity is oh, oh, oh, poor me. I can't do. They don't like me. I can't be, I can have, I can't go. That's not for me. I'm not good enough. And, and, and head garbage like that. That is self-pity. And when you're in that you were being the nail and the tire to weaken yourself. How about this? All the uncertainty in the physical world around you? How much in certainty does that create in your mind that we can do.

Couple of more here, envy and greed. See every emotion that I gave you here. Think about this. Every emotion that I talked about. Worry fear, judgment, self-pity, uncertainty, envy, and greed. Think about how taxing these emotions are. Think about how challenging these emotions are. Think about how these emotions wear you out. And I can say that with, with understanding because many years ago I used to get into all these emotions and I don't know about you, but I know we're all the same when it comes to the brain. This used to wear me out. Why. Because when you're in this crap, you’re literally fighting your external world. When you're into all of your fears and worries and judgements and all this kind of things. These are all things that are coming from somewhere. They're coming from inside of you. Based upon things that are going on outside of you.

I mean, what's there really to worry about inside of you. The fear is coming from judgment or something else, or the economy or something, something outside of you. When you get into these things. You're fighting yourself and you're weakening yourself. When you weaken yourself, you have less ability to go to the source. Let's call it the well of knowledge to get the knowledge you need to no longer have to deal with these things. So, when I say you're fighting yourself, Mother Teresa said many years ago, and I love this phrase. She said, “What you fight weakens you.” So, the question for you is what are you fighting? What things going on in your head all day long based around the negative emotions I talked about. What things go on in your head all day long, day in, day out, and you use this chaos and these thoughts and these negative emotions to not put one nail on your tire, but it's like you ran over a box of tacks and a box of nails, and you got nails all in your tire and no wonder all four of your tires are flat. But you're the one flattening the tires.

You know, I have been on many, many, many, very large radio shows in the United States and the host in the past year always wants to talk about the same things. It always starts like this you know, Jim, all of our listeners are dealing of all these things. They're dealing with the economy and inflation and gas prices and all these kinds of things. How do we deal with this? Well, when you think you listening right now. When you think about economics and politics and what's going on in the world, and you think about COVID and supply chain and your business and your money and the social unrest in the world and global destabilization and all the things that are happening in the environment and climate change. And when you think about these things, what kind of emotional state does it create in you? Does it create a positive emotional state, or does it create a negative emotional state?

Now, obviously. I don't, I can't speak for you, but I I'm, I'm not thrilled on a positive way about the natural disasters on the planet or things that are happening to people. But my takeaway here for you is how does the external world impact you impact you negatively. And then because you were in into your negative emotions. There are negative emotions. Remember, or the nail in the tire that flattens the tire. And when the nails in your tire, you deplete your energy, then you have no energy to create and manifest and heal. So, I think you get it by this point. You have power. When you preserve and you can serve your energy. You have less power or no power. When you deplete your energy. And how you deplete your energy is through your negative emotions that I talked about earlier. The worry, fear, judgment of others upon you. Self-judgment. Self-pity. Uncertainty. Envy. Greed. And the other negative emotions. When you're in those. You weakened yourself. And when you weaken yourself, you have depleted your energy. And you have no power to sense at higher levels of perception. We're dual beings, we're physical and nonphysical. And it's the physical depleting, your energy.

It's the physical that actually depletes your power to sense you know, the higher duality of you what's coming from the mind. This is why it's absolutely vital. To conserve our energy. And it's obvious by now the easiest way to do that is to not get into all of the 3d head crap that we have learned as kids. The worry, the fear, the judgment that self-pity the uncertainty, the envy and the Those things are toxic. Those things are poison. This is why I often say, and in fairness to everyone listening, it took me a lot of years to really get it. You are where your attention is, where do you keep your attention? when you keep your attention on love. And compassion and wellness. And self-love and evolution of self. When you keep your attention there. You raise your frequency and when you're functioning at a higher frequency, The nail does not exist for you. You're no longer leaking energy. When you keep your energy at a higher frequency.

So, your transformational takeaway is, is this remember? When you get into your negative emotions, you leak your energy, and you have no power. When you move your attention to the love, compassion, the self-love, and the evolution of self. That's when you increase your power. That's when more knowing comes from source. And from that place, you're better able to create in your 3d. And when I say 3d, I mean your physical world, the world right in front of your eyes. And candidly, that's why you're listening to the podcast. Because you want to be more, you want to do more, and you want to have more in life. I'm telling you how to do it from a higher perspective.
